World Champion paddler and coach, Danny has been part of the competitive dragon boat scene in Toronto, Canada since 2008. He's been a Premier National Team Athlete since 2013 and an Assistant Coach since 2018. He's also one of the proud coaches of Canada's fastest club crew, NDRC.

When he founded A1 Paddling the goal was to provide fast and reliable access to high quality paddling products in Toronto and Eastern Canada. The products in this store have been tested rigorously with top level athletes. We strive for performance and quality above all.

The name A1 comes from the natural competitive spirit within a team to push each-other to be the best. A ranking ladder often used to define M1 (top male athlete) and F1 (top female athlete). A1 implies being at the top of the ladder. Being the best.
